1852  (1853)  Counties,--the several township, village, and town councils in each county, choose their reeves, and deputy reeves where the population admits of it, and these form the county council.
1884  They met and on votes for the Wardenship found themselves a tie; and as they were unable from the reading of the statute as applied in their case to decide which municipality was entitled to the deputy reeve, they adjourned without appointing a warden.
1966  Deputy Reeve Thompson also reported that department officials had pointed out possible discrepancies. . . .
